Located in the peaceful countryside (on the old road) - where the locals take their daily walks. 5 minute walk from the head of the sea and a further 5 minute walk to the 16th century Dunguaire Castle which holds medieval banquets twice nightly and is open to the public daily.
An ideal touring base to the CLiffs of Moher, Aillwee Caves, Aran Islands, Bunratty Castle & Folk Park, Galway City and Connemara. (You can get the bus from the head of the road, if you are tired of driving.)
