"An Bóithrín" is a cosy modern cottage (sleeps 8) and chalet (sleeps 2) set on a spacious site in the harbour village of Kinvara, on Galway Bay. It has views of the world-famous Burren mountains to the south.

The quaint village is renowned for its lively traditional music scene, noted seafood restaurants, sailing, and festivals. 2 minute walk to shops, pubs, cafés, hotel, sea. A few minutes drive brings you to Tracht blue flag beach.
25 min to Galway city (18 miles).
      

       Accommodation: The main house and chalet (studio-apartment) are rented as separate units with private entrances and parking for each.

COTTAGE: 5 bedrooms (3 double and 2 single) - sleeps 8. Spacious sitting-room/kitchen/utility. Open fireplace. Kingsize en-suite bedroom downstairs. Two double bedrooms and two single bedrooms upstairs. Bathroom with instant electric shower. Oil-fired central heating. Washing machine, tumble-dryer, dishwasher, large fridge, gas hob, electric fan oven, microwave TV/DVD. Fenced lawn at rear with patio & garden furniture.

CHALET: Double bed. Kitchen-sitting room. Bathroom with instant shower. Washing machine, fridge, electric cooker, microwave, wardrobes, electric heating, solid-fuel stove, TV. Private patio, Garden furniture.
Local Attractions
Local attractions include Dunguaire Castle at the entrance to the village which provides nightly medieval banquets. Each summer Kinvara hosts Cruinniu na mBad, a traditional sailing festival featuring turf boats, and also The Cuckoo Fleadh each May Bank Holiday weekend. On the October bank holiday weekend, Gort hosts the Joe Cooley Traditional Music festival. There is a village market - organic vegetables, home baking, crafts - every Friday.

Nearby amenities include the Burren National Park, 2 championship golf courses, The Cliffs of Moher, Aillwee Caves, Burren Perfumery and Floral Centre, Coole Park (home of Lady Gregory), Thoor Ballylee (home of W.B. Yeats, one of our great poets), Kiltartan Museum, Kilmacduagh Monastic Settlement and round tower. Visitors to the area can enjoy fishing, wonderful scenic and historic walks, sea kayaking or even a trip to the Aran Islands! 10 miles from the heritage town of Gort, 20 mins from Gaway airport and 1 hour from Shannon airport.

Terms & Conditions
RENTAL PERIOD: 16:00 hrs on starting Saturday until 11:00 hrs on the following Saturday.
BOOKING: 50% deposit on booking, balance due 8 weeks before arrival.
LINEN: All bed linen is provided and beds are made up.
ELECTRICITY, GAS and HEATING OIL (to a maximum limit of 40 litres) are now included in the rates above. (New for 2010!)
SECURITY DEPOSIT of €100 (refundable) also applies, and is payable along with the balance, 8 weeks before the commencement of the let.
