Each summer Kinvara hosts Cruinniu na mBad, a traditional sailing festival featuring turf boats, and also The Cuckoo Fleadh each May Bank Holiday weekend. On the October bank holiday weekend, Gort hosts the Joe Cooley Traditional Music festival.
