Wild Swan Theatre Company - A Wake in the West to Glor, Wednesday Sept 15, 2010

The Wild Swan Theatre Company, Gort are to bring their hit performance of the hilarious comedy by MJ Ginnelly called
'A Wake In The West' to Glor on Wednesday Sept.15th.
The play has enjoyed a remarkable 8 night sell out run in Gorts Town Hall Theatre and is being performed in Belfasts Cultúrlann Theatre on
August 5th.
Audience reviews have been nothing but glowing for the side - splitting comedy which has received standing ovations every night.
Set during the wake of Tom Healy who has drank himself to the grave and now wishes his grave to be a watery one by requesting cremation and the
scattering of his ashes at sea, the comedy begins when a neighbour decides that Tom is not entitled to take it all with him. It is a comedy of
physical and verbal theatre that is sure to bring a must needed smile to everyone's face.

There is a large cast which includes some of the groups most experienced names ; Kevin Glynn, Donal Connolly, Jimmy Hannigan, Helen Leech, Kate Sherry, Margaret Divilly, Marion Cahill Collins, Rose Finnegan, Max Lee and Jim Earley, the director is Imelda Counihan who has a particular talent at bringing the most out of comedy.
This will be the Swans second showing in Glor after their past performance of The Faithhealer which received great support.
