Welcome to Kinvara Farmers Market webpage.
Kinvara Farmers' Market has been up and running successfully since 1st May 09 in the beautiful walled in
garden behind Johnston's Hall, Main Street, Kinvara. The market runs every Friday from 10.00 to 2.00 and
there are on average, 20/25 stalls each week selling produce such as Fresh Fish like lobster, mussels, crab
claws, clams, hake, cod etc., fresh free range Duck and Hens Eggs, Cheese from the world class, prize-winning
producers of St. Tola in Inagh, Co. Clare as well as a range of Irish produced farmhouse cheeses, Organic
Seasonal Vegetables, Free Range Chickens and Pork Products from the Happy Farmer, Root Vegetables, Fruit in
season such as Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries etc., Flowers for your table, Plants for your garden,
Coffee Beans and Assorted Tea Leaves, delicious, home-baked Organic Breads, Soda Bread and Cakes, Pickles,
Preserves and other potted food delights, Jams, Honey, Olive Oils, Bagels, Teas, Coffees, Soup, Lunches and
Snacks, Hot German Sausages, Paintings, Woollen Jumpers, Gluten Free Baking, some Crafts and Jewellery, Soap
and Body Products to Horse Dung for your compost heap and loads more.
A very special feature of the market is that every week excellent local musicians Johnny Moynihan, Frank
Hall, John Martin and friends come to play and entertain visitors and stall-holders alike, singing songs
and playing wonderful, varied, lively music from around the world.
The market offers great value for your money and is where you can shop, meet your friends, eat lunch at the
picnic tables, let your kids play safely in the garden, listen to the music that will warm your soul in a
sweet and joyful way, and where the smell and taste of the good food will lift your spirits for the rest of

For those interested in joining Kinvara Farmers Market to sell goods, the following information
may be of use to you:
The market takes place every Friday from 10.00 to 2.00
You must be a member of the Market to sell at the Market
Membership costs €25 per annum
To have a stall you must pay €8 per attendance.
You must read the Constitution of the Market and comply with the regulations therein.
If you only have a small amount of goods and do not need a full table, you may sell at the
Community Stall for a fee of €4, but you must stay to sell your own produce, or arrange for a
representative to sell for you. Fees from all the stalls go to the running costs of the Farmers Market.
The Garden will be open from 8.30 Friday morning for delivery and set up and be open to the
public from 10.00.
You must remove your vehicle after delivery of goods.

Applications to join the Market are vetted by the Committee and stall holders are granted
permission to join at the discretion of the Committee. This discretion is reasonably exercised and
takes into account the products to be sold, the quality of the goods and the general balance of goods
for sale.
