Welcome to the "Villa Maria" B&B Web Page Villa Maria guesthouse is is Irish Tourist Board Approved. It is situated just outside the beautiful romantic village of Kinvara, near Dunguaire Castle, on the N67 off the N18. Our guesthouse is a family run bed and breakfast where a warm welcome and personal attention is assured. We are open all year round. Our Guesthouse Features: "Villa Maria" B&B is central to the famous Cliffs of Moher, Ailwee Cave and the limestone Burren (world renouned for its geology, fauna, & flora). Other attractions include the Burren Display Centre, Carron Perfumery and Heritage Centre. We are near Dunguaire Castle where medieval banquets can be arranged. Kinvara hosts a festival, known as Fleadh na gCuach (The Cuckoo Festival), a traditional music and arts festival which is held on the May Bank Holiday weekend. Location We are 20 mins drive to Galway city where one can take the ferry to the Aran Islands, or tour the scenic Connemara. Villa Maria B&B is situated just 1 hour drive from Shannon Airport. Gort is just 15 mins frive and features such attractions as the Joe Cooley Traditional Music Festival (held on the October Bank Holiday weekend), Kilmacduagh Round Tower and monastic settlement dating back to the 7th Century, Thoor Ballylee (summer house of W.B. Yeats) and Coole Park (home of Lady Gregory, one of the founders of the Abbey Theatre. Pricing Bed & Breakfast costs €26.50 off peak and €30.00 peak, per person sharing, €39.00 for single.
